I will be in Singapore this week speaking at Techventure 2013. I will be delivering a talk on future trends in wearable technology couldn’t be more thrilled. Unfortunately I will miss the Formula 1 night races by one day, however the pace of innovation continues to accelerate.
One of the things that most excites me about Singapore is its status as a gateway. From Singapore you are close to all of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China and Hong Kong, as well as India. More than 200 direct flights leave from Singapore’s Changi Airport everyday, meaning you can get to most parts of the world with relative ease.
Singapore is a great launching pad for providing technology services to Asia and the world, and it’s not hard to see why.
While I’m there I would love to meet with startup founders and entrepreneurs involved in innovative projects throughout Asia. If you will be in Singapore this week for Techventure, or if you live there and would like to meet, please drop an email.
I’m also gladly accepting any suggestions f0r street food to sample or fun things to experience this week. Thanks!
